Haley is a lovably odd student at Gief High, in Cow Chip and Lance‘s year, and a member of the Academic Competition team.  Lance went on a date with her, and when he discovered her habitual flatulence, he thought he had found his perfect match at last, but sadly, the relationship went down in flames soon afterwards.  Later, when Lance thought that there was a Math Monster hiding in Ms. Larson‘s classroom, Haley was the only one who believed him.
